About

After Gustav II's wife and true love passed in 354 AUE, Gustav was left stricken with grief and without an heir. In 356 AUE, he made his famous proclamation after the alignment of The Three that he would cede the throne at his death, and would be forming a council of a member of each Great House to rule in his stead, dubbing it The Elder Council.
