About

House Cornay* was a loyal servant and ally of the Lythenmars but they felt they were mistreated when the Lythenmars attempted to expand their reach too far and seat their children in Kelmar Castle. The Castle was in a realm they did not conquer, but that Cornay shed blood for. For that crime, the Cornays plotted and gathered allies to seize the crown for themselves and exile the king. This rebellion broke the line of Lythenmar and laid the way for new kings.

This was short lived however, as in 198 BUE, Ethelbert I seized back the crown in a dishonorable display involving a pie and several half-folk assassins, a trick that he and his line lived to regret.
