House Edewyn, of Lustrkeep

House Edewyn of Lustrkeep was the Great House of The Heartlands, led by Gruffydd Edewyn, Realmlord of The Heartlands and Liege of The Core. The Edewyn banners bore a counterchanged gryphon on a black and purple vertical field.

The device on their arms of a gryphon represented the House's fierce loyalty to the eagles of House Lythenmar's memory and the pride of holding Lustrkeep, once King Aethelred's seat.

House Edewyn were the key conspiritors during the growing resentment after Gustav II's proclamation and King Arminius' staunch allies during the Red Sky War.

History

Born through blood relations of House Lythenmar* (a point of pride for them), House Edewyn weathered almost a millenia of politics and war, only to be snuffed out in the space of half a decade.

Made itself a powerful house by being a smeltery and metallurgic powerhouse in the industry of Electrum.

After their deaths, the lands and vassals of House Edewyn were transferred to House Strong.

Relationships

At the dawn of the Red Sky War, Gruffydd Edewyn crowned Arminius True King of Lythran, witnessed by over 30 other noble and lesser houses.

Military Strength

At the height of the Red Sky War, House Edewyn's army was forty-five thousand men strong
