Queen Eyre is the current monarch of the Crown Empire. Trained from birth to succeed her father, Eyre embodies the ideals of the Crown Empire: A forceful leader with much pride, intelligence, and a strong mistrust of the Khunlei.
Personality
From the moment of Eyre's birth, she was strictly controlled and supervised so as to avoid any possible chance of rebellion.
This utter lack of personal freedoms led to a kindling of a somewhat rebellious spirit: such to the point that she later insisted on a 'simple' coronation and marriage - a stark contrast to the usual monarchist extravagance. These personal decisions publicly paint the Queen in a general light of humility and relatability.
Ideology
Eyre thinks absolutely nothing of the Khunlei; such to the point that the subjugation of their rights and land is completely irrelevant. Within the Queen's mind the Crown Empire is the superior civilisation and any opposers shall either relocate or subjugate.
Possibly in contrast to this, however, Eyre has a personal fascination with certain Khunlei peoples and oftentimes makes explicit gestures to protect those she finds interesting. This 'protection' is controlling by nature and extends only to physical existence - the lands and interests of those she 'protects' are of course not extended such leniency.
