Spirits are stray flecks of Ichor that have bonded with miscellaneous non-sentient objects which possess little-to-no ichor of their own. They are extremely stupid and weak, but by sheer numbers enough exist that a competent Medium - or even any generally notable Mortal can affect moderate change upon their surroundings.
