Overview
After you've defined your Skills, Powers, Gear and Tags, there are still some questions to answer. Before your Universe is ready for players to start Character Creation, it is recommended to define the following aspects together.
General
First off, let's determine what Endurance means for your Universe. Is it your motivation to power through difficult situations? Is it how well you take physical physical blows? Is it your ability to withstand scathing remarks? Endurance is generic enough to handle all those cases, but perhaps your setting requires a more specific application.
Also, what happens when a character hit 0 Endurance? Do they fall unconscious? Do they die? What happens if a character dies? Can they be brought back to life or does that player need to create a new character? Perhaps the Modules you've added already have clear answers for this, but if not, it is important to set player expectations for what can happen if they take risks.
Now is also a good time to define Archetypes. Archetypes can help speed up Character Creation for new players. It also helps set the stage for your Universe. What kind of characters can the players choose to be? Are they classic fantasy tropes, like adventurers, wizards and knights? Are they different styles of hard-boiled detectives? Are they born to a different class in a highly hierarchal society? Having clear-cut Archetypes helps players share your vision of the setting and kickstarts their roleplaying and gameplay options.
If your players have intimate knowledge of your setting and love getting into the nitty gritty of rules and character creation, defining Archetypes might not be necessary.
Core Module
If you use the Core Module, you have to determine how long a Breather takes in-Universe. Since players initiate when they want to take a Breather, it's recommended to give them a clear duration and consistently stick with that ruling.
