Vaelindar has presided over the Anaerwood for at least three mortal millennia and his kindness is known by most. Less well-known outside of Valurn is his wonderful singing, for which he was famed before he became responsible for his realm.

High Elves have long been known for their practise of songcraft. Vaelindar created many Songblades in his time-- and used them, too.

His children are Miruin, whom he chose in adoption, and his given children- Vaeroan and the deceased Mailoren.
