Hyuron most commonly speak Arunaic [Common], Nekali, & Margallene.
Colloquialisms:
"With a thousand eyes!" (or "A thousand eyes see"): Expressing disbelief or astonishment at something obvious or earnestly bewildering. Comes from the idea that "with a thousand eyes could you still not hope to understand it!" or "a thousand eyes see it and still don't understand it/believe it"
"Blind me!" (or "Strike me blind!"): An exclamation of surprise, anger or frustration.
"A mind without a chart will plot a course for the abyss": This proverb declares that madness is not a random affliction, but the default destination for an unoccupied mind. If a mind is not actively being steered toward a specific, logical goal, its natural, entropic course is to drift into the all-consuming gravity of the abyss.
"A becalmed ship invites a silent passenger.": The "silent passenger" is, of course, the Fathom's will, a presence that comes aboard when the crew's own purpose has stalled.
Insults:
"One-eye": An insult implying a lack of full perception. A "one-eyed" perception lacks depth to the hyuron. Literally and figuratively.
"Blindworm!": A derogatory term for someone considered foolish or ignorant.
Popular figuratives:
"Seeing eye to eye": Mutual understanding.
"Keeping a close eye on", "A watchful eye": Watching with, usually, some suspicion and vigilance.
"The eye of the storm": A dangerous or chaotic situation and usually its cause.
