Margallene
/

Margallene is one of the other most frequently spoken languages in Nhera alongside Arunaic [Common].

Margallene is somewhat unique for a system of nasal vowels in its primary dialect, where air passes through both the nose and mouth.

It has a stress-timed rhythm, meaning that stressed syllables are pronounced with greater emphasis on a specific syllable in each word. Its stress patterns are evenly distributed.

It is commonly favoured by bards and poets.

When listening to Margallene, it can sound melodic and musical, with a soft and fluid rhythm. The nasal vowels and the distinctive intonation can make it seem quite different from Arunaic. However, it can also be challenging to understand, especially for those unfamiliar with the language's complex phonetics and pronunciation rules.
