"As the warp gives form to the fabric, so does aether underpin the physical world."
Weft and Warp is a scholarly concept to Nherans as a means to describe the relationship of the aetheric versus physical. The seen versus unseen.
A Tuatha tailor, while weaving garments for the first elvenking, was the first to describe the concept. He likened the sussur, tellur and aethur to be threads that make up the 'fabric' of reality.
The warp refers to the strong, vertical threads that are held taut on a loom. They form the base structure of the fabric as aether does for telluric elements in reality.
The weft refers to threads that are then passed over and under the warp threads, creating the actual fabric. One may think of the weft as "weaving across" the warp and creating telluric and sussuric elements that can be perceived more easily.
"A good cloth needs both warp and weft. A strong warp to hold it all together. A good weft to make it beautiful. Without both, you have nothing but loose threads."
