Reality does not shout; it resonates. The wise listen not with ears, but with the soul, attuned to the deep vibration of Aether flowing between worlds – the quiet Song beneath all noise.
There is a sound nigh-imperceptible to the ears of living creatures, mortal or otherwise. Creatures blessed with inherently greater perception can, at times, hear the din of a phenomena known to Eldar as asralin or asralinaeros, the 'song of the worldstar'.
Thought to be the movement of all aether in the Realm matrix, heard as if on the wind but felt with the body almost moreso.
Tuatha and other Eldar are most commonly able to hear the sound and describe it, as best they can, as an impossibly deep thrum as if heard through a corridor the size of the matrix itself. Encapsulating and immersive, electric and ageless.
Thought to be a result of the Exotide.
Look to Asra, the constant star. Source of all Aether, its light touches everything. Its rhythm, the Exotide, dictates the tide of the Matrix itself – the pulse of existence, measured one slow breath at a time.
