Since the Imperia is not any one individual culture, but a macro-culture made up of many communities and languages, those in the Aurumate speak many languages. However, a unified belief and emphasis on the importance of eyes led to some popular and frequent colloquialisms in most Hyuron communities. These tend to find their way into all common tongues of the Hyuron, from Nekali to Arunaic [Common] and more.
Colloquialisms.
"With a thousand eyes!" (or "A thousand eyes see"): Expressing disbelief or astonishment at something obvious. Comes from the idea that "with a thousand eyes could you still not hope to understand it!" or "a thousand eyes see it and still don't understand it"
"Blind me!" (or "Strike me blind!"): An exclamation of surprise or frustration.
"Holy throne", "Bright throne" (or merely "throne"): Swearing to the "seat" of the empyrean eye, the most holy symbol.

Popular figuratives.
"Seeing eye to eye": Mutual understanding.
"Keeping a close eye on", "A watchful eye": Watching with, usually, some suspicion and vigilance.
