The keepers of history, science, theology, and lore. They operate the great libraries, universities, and scriptoriums. They advise all other branches but are often seen as insular.

Specialized Titles Within the Lexicanum:

• Chronomaestro: A master title for a senior Lexicanor who specializes in history, timelines, and prophecy. There might only be a handful of these in the entire Imperia.

• Censorian: A grim but necessary role within the Lexicanum. These are the lorekeepers tasked with reviewing, redacting, and "correcting" historical or heretical texts to align with Spectra dogma. They are the gatekeepers of official truth.

• Silvagus: An unofficial title for a rare type of Lexicanor: a wandering field scholar. They forsake the archives to travel the stars, seeking lost knowledge and forgotten ruins firsthand. They are often seen as eccentric and unreliable but possess unique, practical knowledge.

A Lexicanarch is a scholarly leader, dean of a place of learning or a master of a school of study. Much like a professor or authority of subject.
