Overview
Profile
Ryemack, best known as the God of Poetry, is a minor god of Gallery. Poetry, however, is an oversimplification of their domain. Ryemack oversees the creative aspects of language, the messy, evolving bits which Tel'let despises. They resist Tel'let's domain of orderly, rule structured language, the divine personification as language as a tool of creativity born of innovation. They love writing poetry more than anything except, of course, their family.
Ryemack rules over their own section of Gallery, inhabited by them and their demigods. Their section of the plane is constantly swirling with fragments of stories, and oftentimes characters the deities think up are born from the plane as lesser celestials.
Depictions
Appearance
<How does the deity appear in artwork, teachings, or depictions to a typical follower? If this deity is known to show themselves to mortals directly, what are their most common forms? Does the deity change shape, or have multiple forms?>
Holy Symbol
<How does a cleric or champion of this deity identify themselves as such by appearance?>
Influences
Goals
Ryemack has no lofty ambitions. They want to create art and protect those they love. Although some say they nurse a burning desire to win Tel'let's approval.
Divine Relationships
Tel'let is considered the aunt of Ryemack. While Ryemack, inexplicably, adores Tel'let and seeks her approval, constantly trying to prove to The Goddess of Language the merits of poetry, Tel'let despises the younger deity.
As an abandoned orphan of sorts, Ryemack is extremely close with Scrawl and their fellow demigods of Gallery. They love nothing more than to create art with their found family.
Ryemack is especially caring of their demigods, all of whom were born out of Gallery's creative energy after Ryemack was. They are known as Ryemack's Children. When one is born from the plane, Ryemack is always there ready to welcome them.
