Ursula is not an evil goddess, but she is certainly not kind, either. Her gaze tends to be far reaching, looking at the whole of problems from a distance, struggling to see the individual pieces which make them up. She is a dangerous god to seek help from, as she is likely to help someone dying of thirst by dropping an ocean atop them, intrigued by mortal matters but far too great to understand the mortal scale.

Ursula and her charges have taken a curious interest in The Material Plane, coming to take a more active role in matters there the past few centuries.

Appearance

Ursula's preferred form is that of a gigantic octopus, large enough to tear apart the greatest of ships. She enjoys dark purple hues mixed with deep ocean blues.

Holy Symbol

Followers of Ursula often find creative ways to mark themselves with the symbol of the tentacle, whether they paint their arm with waterproof paints to resemble the limb of an octopus, or enchant a strand of braided hair to become a writhing tentacle atop their head.

Ursula has a growing interest in the material plane. She has shown a desire to protect the life upon it and in the past few centuries become more directly involved. Some think she is looking for a way to make the seas sailable without draining her powers.

Ursula and Brand are sworn enemies. Ursula sees Brand as a reckless hothead, so obsessed with his own power he cannot care properly for his plane and demigods.
