While Reaper oversees the dying, destructive aspect of change, No'vel oversees the second part of this process, the process of creation and birth.

Like all who have ties to Mechanus, they are steady and steadfast. No'vel is dedicated to her duty, ever calm and difficult to anger, until someone interferes with his domain.

No'vel is often depicted molding creatures out of clay or planting seeds in an endless garden. Little is constant about their physical appearance.
