Aberrations can trace their origins to The Far Realm. They are alien beings which defy the logic of the planes, and there are few within The Universe who do not fear them, gods and mortals alike. Well known aberrations include Mind Flayers and Beholders.

Relations of other Races
Aberrations are feared across the universe. They defy its rules, standing as a challenge to the universe as we know it. Arcadia's Celestials war against them, seeking to eradicate anything unfathomable. Many Aberrations, however, inhabit The Arcane Plane, some such as Mind Flayers wreaking havoc, but others seeming well adapted and existing peaceful as part of the plane's ecosystem.

Lore
No one knows why or how Aberrations come into being, their existence in defiance to logic and reason. Some stories cast them as active agents sent by The Far Realms in order to study, or to destroy, The Universe. Others claim that they are the pieces of The Far Realm torn off as The Outer Planes scrape against The Far Realms.
