Plants are creatures composed of vegetable or fungal matter. Sentient plants are most common in The Feywild and Shadowfell, where they are also categorized as Fey, and The Material Plane. The Plant creature type is not to be mistaken with the mundane everyday plant, which is mechanically treated as an object, and thus affected differently by some spells and other effects.
