Overview
Profile
Varence is the god of acting and drama. She completely embodies the roles the takes on, shifting forms and personalities to play out their whims. In the defense against Dracar, she fights by casting Dracar's constructs into new roles, or changing the genre and script to confuse and overwhelm their programing.
Varence created the Changelings, creatures capable of changing their appearances just as they do, to dwell within The Feywild and Shadowfell. She is unusual in her interest in The Material Plane as a potential source of creativity and drama.
Depictions
Appearance
Varence appears in no stable form. All that connects depictions of her is a sense of flair and drama. When she reveals herself to followers, it is often under a well-crafted guise.
Holy Symbol
Worshipers of Varence dawn masks in her honor, from the classical comedy and tragedy masks to chaotic, self expressive masquerade masks.
Influences
Goals
Varence's only desire it to act. She is less distant to The Material Plane than other planar gods, as she will pick actors to play patron to, wishing for all to share in the gifts of the act. She is inherently opposed to censorship and will aid her followers should they find themselves subjected to it.
