Sun City enjoys temperate weather.

The southern valley, known as Emsher Valley, is dry, supporting little. Most food is imported into the region from the north, in order to support both the mining settlements within the mountains and the military encampment at Ricken Pass.

Most of Sun City's food is grown in Beaconlet Hills, the arable region to the northwest of the city, which the river cuts through.
