Basic Information
Batfolk where one of En's first peoples, created before Ember brought the sun, and therefore made to thrive in the darkness. They were created before bats, and the beasts take their name from them.
Relations of other Races
Like the rest of En's first people, the Batfolk were forced underground after Ember brought the sun. Many of them hold the sun dwelling races in contempt, especially the other flying races, feeling the open skies were stolen from them.
Physical Appearance
Batfolk are humanoid, with leathery skin in hues of black, brown, red, orange, and grey, though some also have short fur covering much of their body, except their hands, feet, and face. They have large, batlike ears, black eyes, and leathery wings that stretch under their arms to their torso, from their wrists to their waist.
