Myths and Lore
Creation Myth
Dwarves were created by Giganta, the Goddess of Giants and Rune Carving, to inhabit the Material Plane. She first made the Duergar, to dwell on the dark plane and fill it with crafted wonders. Duergar were the first magic item crafters on The Material Plane, and their works were instrumental in the survival of En's first peoples in the new, harsh world. After Ember brought the sun, she created the Hill and Mountain Dwarves.
