Overview
Profile
Krakinos takes the form of a great Kraken, though they are technically a water elemental, not a monstrosity. Their domain is that of all sea life, from the smallest fish to largest kraken. They embody the desire to live against all odds which sea life embodies, surviving in lightless depths.
They began as the demigod of water elementals, but have become a patron god of ocean dwelling beasts and monstrosities, like the Kraken they created. Krakinos was once a reliable, protective god who sought to teach all ocean dwelling creatures the skills they would need to survive their inhospitable environment. Since they created the kraken, they have become more and more like their creations, becoming more and more obsessed with strength, survival, and domination. They have forsaken their other charges for the kraken, and it is believed they are suffering from Immortal Madness.

Influences
Goals
Krakinos wants their sea creatures to thrive, a goal which manifests as a desire to expand the reach of the lightless, endless depths as far as possible. Krakinos's most recent campaign has been a string of attempts to expand the domain of the kraken into the oceans of En, a campaign which has destroyed no shortage of triton cities and threatens to cause upheaval in the Oceania pantheon.
Divine Relationships
Krakinos's attempts to bring kraken to The Material Plane have brought the deity into conflict with Minnow, who has stepped in repeatedly on behalf of Ursula to protect the triton.
