Overview

Profile

Charged with overseeing a vast, uninhabited stretch of land on the border of Aerie and Arctica, Mistral is considered the goddess of lonely winds. Tales say that when one wanders a field alone at night, Mistral sends her winds to travel with the wanderer, so they will not be alone. She is considered to be one of the weakest deities, though her capabilities at least put her above Persephone.

When En was new, Mistral created the Batfolk, desiring that if she could not travel the worlds with companions by her side, then at least her Batfolk children could.

Even if she does not voice it, most recognize that Mistral is lonely, wishing to wander the worlds but confined to the borderlands of Aerie.

Divine Relationships

A few of the more sociable deities visit Mistral in her lonely domain from time to time, but they never stay long. Cloudia is the only deity of Aerie who visits. She especially enjoys Orbon's visits, and meeting their young charges. Despite going unspoken, it is well known Orbon and Mistral are interested in one another, a rumor undoubtedly spread by Cloudia.
