Description

Wolf's Rest now proudly stands reinforced and secure, all through the hard work of the Mist watch and it's brave adventurers.

A powerful bridge constructed of wood and boulders acts as an over look and is the most significant icon of the Haven. The river it hangs over has subsided in intensity and is now calm and comforting.

River birds still soar and perch at the bridge hunting for fish that pass through and small river crabs who have become more exposed with the resolution of the Haven's Flooding problem.

Outside the bridge itself are several constructed cottages and walls made of the leftover rubble from an old ancient bridge that was the cause of flooding in the area.

The soil is damp with every step as years of flooding have kept the land moist.

History

  • This encampment seemed to be the home of a group of Mutated Bandits who occupied this place for its abundance of crab and birds for food. Unannounced a party ( Session Report - Dan 06/21/2024 ) came in searching to occupy this place specifically as a future haven for the Mist Watch and proceeded to pick a fight and by the skin of their teeth clear the camp of nearly all its inhabitants. One was reported to have gotten away, riding the back of a 6 legged wolf carrying a horn of some sort.

  • A few days later another group of adventurers arrived with 20 hirelings to work on construction of the Haven. During Construction, the 6-Legged wolf from days prior was hunting in the area and attempted to hunt a member of the party. The battle was scary and nearly lethal for some adventurers but together they fought the beast and drowned it in the harsh river.

  • The final blow was delivered by Rubul the Half orc Champion Fighter, Honoring him with the self proclaimed title RUBUL WOLFBANE and the naming of the Haven Wolf's Rest!

  • Stone is being brought to Wolf's Rest from Mirestone Mine 's Mist watch Quarry to build a town wall
