Nadja is tall for a dwarf, standing at around 5'0". Her wrinkled skin and numerous scars, including burn marks, tell stories of countless battles. She has white hair kept short, with braided sideburns adorned with various bits tied into them. Her piercing blue eyes reflect a lifetime of dedication and service. Despite her age, Nadja remains physically fit, though not as agile as she once was. Her strengths lie in her experience and tactical mind, while her weakened voice from a past injury serves as a reminder of her vulnerabilities.

Traits and Motivations

Nadja’s unwavering loyalty is to the crown, having served four rulers: Alistair Draven, Elendara Falkrest, Edemere Falkrest, and the current King Talon Falkrest. She is stern and quiet, only speaking when necessary. Her voice is a meek whisper due to a throat injury sustained during the rebellion. For lengthy conversations, she relies on sign language. Nadja is disciplined and stoic, with a strong sense of duty. Her main virtue is her unwavering loyalty, though her stern demeanor can be intimidating. She has no tolerance for insubordination and fears failing to protect the king. Her age brings doubts about her physical capabilities, but her mind remains sharp.

Their Wyvern

Nadja rides a smaller, nimble wyvern named Baella, the Brittlebreath. Baella is one of the few wyverns with a breath weapon, capable of exhaling icy shards. The wyvern's white scales are stained black in places, creating a checkerboard pattern. Like Nadja, Baella is older and shares her master’s reserved nature. They are cold and standoffish towards others, preferring Nadja’s company above all. Baella’s patience and tactical behavior complement Nadja’s leadership, making them a formidable pair despite their age.
