All players start with Inspiration at the start of the session.

Inspiration can be used to reroll any roll total, with all of its bonuses and maluses. When using Inspiration to reroll dice, you must use the new roll total, even if the result is lower.

Gaining Inspiration

Inspiration is gained when a player rolls a 1 on a d20 test, or when their character is reduced to 0 hit points and falls unconscious. Each player can only have a single Inspiration, and they gain nothing if they already had Inspiration.

The GM can also grant Inspiration to a player for any reason they see fit, such as enjoyable gameplay, compensating bad luck, or other such reasons.
