If a Rite has a prerequisite Accursed level you can learn that Rite at the same time you meet its prerequisite level.

Whenever you learn a new Cursed Rite you can choose one Cursed Rite you know and replace it with another Cursed Rite of your choice for which you meet the prerequisites.

Empowered Rites. Some Cursed Rites can be empowered for additional potency. To gain these empowered effects, you make a Vital Sacrifice as part of invoking the Cursed Rite.
