"Honor is his unbreakable bond, a vow to remain true to his word and duties. They serve not just as defenders of the realm, but as custodians of our moral compass. In their presence, one feels the steady hand of justice and the warm embrace of a protector who values integrity above all."
Description
Moaress is described in ancient dragon religion as the progenitor of all dragonkind, who was a magnificent dragon adorned with green and gold scales, and whose colours give name to the Golden Church of Amalianism. It was believed that Moaress sculpted the first dragonkind from the very essence of nature, instilling in them the virtues of honor, grace, and wisdom.
In modern times, Moaress has been adopted into Amalianism religion in Verdantine to become one of the eight aspects of the Divine, the aspect of Honor. Moaress is still the most revered aspect in Verdantine, and his ancient depictions described as the Divine visiting Gaias to help guide His children.
Faith, Goals and Structure
Moaress' reverence permeates most of Verdatine society, with honor being enshrined in most facets of life, such as a knight's code, the regality of nobility or the dutifulness of the serf. Most priests and cleric of Moaress act as judges in Verdantine, and preside over diplomacy between noble houses or family disputes of commoners.
In many places in Verdantine, old shrines and constructions can also still be found worshipping Moaress, where offerings and pagan rituals took place, while most temples in cities have been converted to amalianist churches.
