Campaign Synopsis

In the world of Faelorian, the foundations of life and death are fractured, having been skewed by a blasphemous event wrought by a singular individual - a formidable Arcane practitioner who discovered a way to tap into the powers and energies that feed the Gods and their existence within the Outer Planes. Known only through historical data as "Vhaegos", he is directly responsible for The Awakening - the moment in the annals of Faelorian history where the dead began to walk the realm, their souls unable to find peace; the gateway to the afterlife has been closed, and their eternal salvation denied.

As inducted members of The Dark Oath, the story's heroes are sworn to defend the living from the dead - a dangerous and lifelong commitment. Under direct orders, the party travels to the remote village of Brent, located in the free lands of Krysenland. There, amidst an abandoned and haunted inn, the party discovers the existence of a crystalline shard of immense power and volatility - a power capable of re-animating the dead
