Stone goliaths are living embodiments of the rugged mountainous lands they inhabit. Their granite-like skin and formidable physiques reflect the jagged cliffs and boulders of their rocky homes. Descended from ancient stone giants, these beings move with the endurance and strength of the mountains themselves, despite their size. They dwell in high peaks and craggy hills, shaping their homes from the very stone around them. Unlike their frost-bound relatives, stone goliaths possess a quiet, steadfast nature, honoring their heritage while fiercely protecting their land and kin from those who threaten the natural balance.

Stone Goliath Traits

Mountain Born. You're acclimated to high altitudes, including elevations above 20,000 feet. You have advantage on checks made to withstand extreme environmental effects of high elevation.

Stone's Endurance. You can supernaturally draw on your ancestral bloodlines of the stone giants to shrug off harm. When you take nonmagical bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage, you can use your reaction to roll a d12. Add your Constitution modifier to the number rolled and reduce the damage by that total.

You can use this trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
