Moon elves are beings of the night, their pale gray or light purple skin softly reflecting the glow of the moon they revere. They move with ethereal grace, finding comfort in the stillness of the dark. To them, the night is not something to fear but a companion, where the world slows and the secrets of the universe can be felt. Curious and open-hearted, they live in balance—drawn to the quiet of the night, yet filled with a quiet wonder for the mysteries around them. Beneath the moon’s gaze, they carry the watchful, patient power of the starlit sky.

Moon Elf Traits

Darkvision. Accustomed to moonlit forests, you have enhanced vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Blessings of the Moon. You know the dancing lights cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the faerie fire spell. When you reach 5th level, you can also cast the moonbeam spell. Casting these spells with this trait doesn't require material components. You can cast these spells once per day with this trait and regain the ability to cast them when you finish a long rest. 

Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells when you cast them with this trait (choose when you select this subrace).
