Old Growth is a truly spectacular region filled with ancient forests that have existed for thousands of years. While there are some elevation changes in the area, it is primarily flat. In certain sections, the trees are hundreds of years old, growing to massive sizes and creating canopies that can shade an entire village. The diversity of plant life here is staggering, boasting a wider variety than anywhere else in Gevadun. Similarly, the range of animal life is vast and impressive. The lushness of the region is matched only by the magical essence that permeates the air and soil, radiating from the ancient trees. Ponds and rivers traverse the landscape, providing ample fresh water for both habitation and consumption. However, the verdant environment, while hospitable, also poses dangers. The abundance of prey leads to a significant presence of predators, with dangerous beasts and monstrosities being commonplace throughout the region.
