Important Note on D&D 5E Mechanics
To play Gevadun using the D&D 5E system, a few key mechanics are essential. The most important aspect is the currency used in Gevadun: the Silver Phoenix, often referred to simply as a Phoenix (getting its name from the realm) and abbreviated as Px. The section on the Silver Phoenix includes pricing for every item listed in the D&D 5E Player’s Handbook. If this pricing is not sufficient, note that two Phoenixes are approximately equivalent to one gold piece in D&D 5E currency. This is vital when determining the value of an object that has no listed price in Phoenixes.
Additionally, the Dungeon Master (DM) running Gevadun should prohibit the use of the spell Plane Shift. Teleportation spells should be restricted to movement within a single realm. This limitation is crucial as inter-realm travel forms a fundamental part of Gevadun's design and experience.
