Overview
Peccatores Regnum is the Leonin kingdom located in the northeastern corner of Praetoria, with its capital in the city of Pardus Rex. According to Leonin history, they were once a fragmented people until a mighty warrior united them from across the plains into one cohesive kingdom. The king of Peccatores Regnum relies on few advisors and delegates minimal authority since the Leonin are naturally capable and require little governance to thrive. The Leonin people generally loved the royal family, as they are seen as the exemplars of Leonin culture and virtue. The Leonin are fascinated with non-Praetorian foreigners, and many have traveled to other realms of Gevadun to explore and experience different cultures. This curiosity has fostered good relations between Peccatores Regnum and the other powers in Gevadun.
Government Operation
The Leonin kingdom of Praetoria has historically been ruled by a king who maintains a harem of wives. The Leonin are inherently solitary creatures, requiring little governance. However, even solitary creatures need some type of governing, and the king exerts this authority over his kingdom. He relies on a close-knit system of hereditary advisors who are honor-bound to assist him in governance.
More than just a ruler, the Leonin king serves as a cultural figurehead for all Leonin. While this role is common for rulers across Gevadun, it is particularly significant in Leonin society. Although the king holds complete control over the kingdom, the elders of the larger Leonin clans also possess substantial influence over the people of Peccatores Regnum. This dynamic can lead to social unrest if the goals and ideals of the elders and the king do not align.

Royal Advisor: Royal advisors are the close confidants and personal aids to the king. The position of royal advisor is hereditary, and as a king has children, their advisors also have children, ensuring the continuity of governance.
Pride Justice: Pride Justices are peacekeepers, judges, and sometimes minor governors who are hand-chosen by the king to protect and manage sections of the kingdom. They often protect one town or a few villages. Many justices defend a city, and they collaborate to keep the peace.
Military
The king is also the supreme military authority in Peccatores Regnum. Warriors are divided by their clans, with warriors of the same clan fighting alongside one another. This organizes the kingdom's military, but also isolates many of its warriors from one another. Much like with the politics of the nation, the king is in charge of the military, but many of the warriors also listen and pay great respect to the elders of the mighty clans. Leonin warriors train with incredible intensity, and many live for the thrill of battle. The reluctance of Peccatores Regnum and Imperium Unitum to launch a full-scale war means that these warriors often need to sate their thirst for combat in a gladiatorial manner against each other. While this leads to injuries, it also makes more skilled warriors.
