"If you don't want four arms or eyeballs growing from strange places, I suggest you leave swiftly, outsiders" - A local to adventurers

The City of Flesh is located on the isle of Ripkel, where the devoted followers of the Benevolent Corruptor reside. These fervent believers have abandoned their homes to gather in this city, situated at the foot of the Corruptor's workshop. The city is populated by mutants whose flesh has been twisted, cut, mended, and stitched to satisfy the artistic whims of the Benevolent Corruptor. Although small, the city is well-defended due to its remote island location and the Corruptor's watchful, protective gaze, making it difficult for outsiders to disturb its peace. The Corruptor rules the city directly, appointing his most trusted students to act as his representatives and to carry out his will. He shows little concern for mortal affairs; instead, he focuses on granting his followers a more artistic form. In the context of the rest of The Chasm, the City of Flesh is a relatively safe place to reside. The primary danger, however, lies in the risk of rapid and unsolicited mutation. The Foul energy emanating from the Corruptor's workshop fills the air, occasionally descending upon the City of Flesh in waves of twisting, mutating, and metamorphic magic.
