The Ork Deities
The Ork deities have been a significant topic of discussion among the theologians of Gevadun. They have made their presence felt on numerous occasions; however, they are not mentioned in any of the tales or histories that describe the creation of Gevadun. Their origins remain unknown, and their birth is a mystery. Additionally, it is puzzling that many Orks in Felder pray to the Ork deities (excluding Olock worshipers) while also worshiping the Pantheon of the Nine. Regardless of their history, the presence of the Ork deities cannot be overlooked, nor can their influence on the nature of divinity throughout Gevadun.
Olock (CE)
Olock is the Ork deity believed to usher in the era of Ork supremacy. According to ancient Ork prophecy, when Olock finally manifests in the world, he will eliminate every god in the Pantheon of the Nine Divine, heralding an age of Orkish domination. While not all Orks adhere to this belief or worship Olock, some are devoted to him and desire his presence to be revealed and his return to be realized.
Olock's holy symbol is an eye. He is depicted as a massive Ork clad in tribal armor, portrayed with an eye patch.
Strong Jaw (CG)
Strong Jaw is the Orkish god of strength and bravery. According to legend, he was once an Ork who became a god after he single-handedly confronted an ancient tribe of 10,000 warriors. Although he was mortally wounded in the battle, his valor in claiming so many lives allowed him to ascend to the heavens, where he now watches over his fellow Orks from the skies above Felder. Orks who pray to Strong Jaw seek bravery and courage to honorably face their foes.
His holy symbol is a mouth filled with razor-sharp teeth. Strong Jaw is depicted as a large Ork covered in countless scars and wounds, and his voice is said to shake mountains.
Grumtik (TN)
Grumtik is the Ork god of hunting, and the Orks pray to him for good fortune. Hunting is fundamental to Ork society, as it signifies someone who can support the tribe. An Ork's first hunt is a significant event, and almost every Ork reveres Grumtik. Small festivals are held in his honor whenever an Ork village or city has a particularly large or successful hunt.
Grumtik’s holy symbol is a boar's head. He does not have an anthropomorphic description. Ork Sagas describes him as "the sun in the sky, the crash of the waves, the breeze in the trees, and the hum in the earth," highlighting his nature as an animistic deity.
