"Magic is the heart of the universe, and it is something my kin and I will understand." - Moreos
Moreos is a welcoming city for scholars and academics. Old Dragons tend to inhabit the lands surrounding Moreos. These old timers reside in large dwellings, essentially manors for dragons, where they can enjoy their advanced age and retirement. These old Dragons are well-learned, often polite, and hold a deep respect within the community. Although Moreos is the most isolated city in the realm, its inhabitants manage to thrive. The Clan of Moreos is mysterious and secretive, similar to the ancient dragon Moreos himself. Unlike the bodies of other deceased Ancient Dragons, which are interred in public graves for citizens to visit, Moreos's remains are not on display. This upsets many of Moreos's descendants, as they wish to pay their respects at his tomb. An unspoken bond exists between a Dragonborn, the Dragons they serve, and their Ancient Dragon progenitor. This connection is based on ancestry and lineage rather than the Dragonborn's color. Despite the leading clan's secrecy, Moreos has numerous workshops producing high-quality goods. The city is safe and well-maintained, but its isolated nature results in a high cost of living.
