Ellabore is a stunning city and the oldest, most prestigious city in Sindare. Known for its exceptional jewelers and skilled fine smiths, the gems and fine jewelry produced here are highly coveted. While every city in Sindare boasts a few scholars and capable mages, Ellabore serves as the magical epicenter of Gevadun. Often referred to as the “Spire City,” Ellabore features many tall buildings, culminating in soaring spires that reach the sky. A significant portion of the city is situated on floating islands, connected by bridges, which contributes to its unique charm and impressive verticality. Although floating islands are not uncommon in Sindare, few cities have successfully developed them to the extent that Ellabore has. The abundant magical energy emanating from these islands makes them ideal locations for wizard towers. This abundance of magic is also why Ellabore is home to Seariath, the Institute of the Arcane, the most prestigious magical institution in the realms.
