One of the NPCs from the adventure "The Dragon's Hall", living in Llanybydder.
"Don’t eat the mushrooms with the white caps. Unless you want to see colors that don’t exist."
Faerval is Everlain Illuban’s daughter, a bright and independent young half-elf who vanished during a solitary foraging trip north of town. Known locally for her laughter and the collection of forest mushrooms drying above her father’s forge, Faerval has always been something of a wild spirit: too curious for her own good, and too skilled to need constant supervision - until now.
In the adventure The Dragon's Hall, she has been captured by the kobolds that work for the dragon Axabar, and taken to its lair in Old Gvanlar's Hall as a sacrifice (as per the old legends).
Description
In her early twenties, Faerval wears her dark hair in a loose plait and favours practical forest garb: a wool tunic, mud-spattered leggings, and a satchel full of parchment notes and dried herbs. She’s slender and long-limbed, with striking green eyes and a birthmark on her collarbone in the shape of a crescent moon. There’s often dirt under her fingernails, and her boots are worn from long days in the wild.
Traits and Motivations
Faerval is independent, clever, and endlessly curious - especially about natural lore, fungi, and forgotten places. Her confidence sometimes borders on recklessness, and she often explores without telling anyone. She has no taste for politics or propriety and prefers the company of woods and ruins to people.
