One of the few expansions into Endon by the gnomish colonies to the north, Flintbake specialises in the production of coal - a resource used but sparingly by the wider population of Endon, but which is extremely valuable to the dwarfish and gnomish populace. What iron that it produces, which is still an appreciable amount, is sold to the smith in Shallowport, and is the main source for that town. 

However, the gnomes mining have had difficulties: their delving has brought them to an ancient grotto, predating even the Ssthessic Vrasa.
