What Dreams May Come

"You stand in a tower that has no base. Stars drift like motes of dust through a library with no pages. Bells hang from nothing. A chorus hums — not heard but felt in your teeth, your spine, your blood. One of the bells bears your own name."

After surviving any of the previous bell/dream/memory adventures (see right), the party begins dreaming of three bells ringing in unison. They wake with a sigil branded into their skin — faint, painless, but visible only in moonlight. Someone begins sending them letters signed only with a spiral… and the letters come from the past.

Significant NPCs:

  • Kesh (Returned)(From The Bellswatch Accord) Now revealed as a fragment of the Accord itself — once human, now splintered across lives.

  • The Seer with No Ears – Blindfolded oracle who navigates by vibration alone; claims to “hear the shape of what was.”

  • The Accord’s Voice – A being of pure memory, singing in harmonic resonance to draw minds into its unity.

Rewards:

  • The Accord’s Echo: a magical tone that can open any sealed door — once.

  • A memory of the future: one time, a player may declare something was true, and it becomes so.

  • Harmony Glass: allows a user to see any hidden resonance — illusions, lies, or fey-glamour.
