Maari is an elderly halfling woman who lives in the village of Whitehill. She was a practicing alchemist for years, and spends her twilight days tending to their wounds and ills, and acting as a local healer and wise woman. She was the one who insisted that Jarrad Redhat send for help when the hauntings began in Whitehill.

Description

Small and slim, Maari is never seen without her enormous shawl, made of pinks and purples and wrapped around her. She also wears a wide-brimmed hat, from which she hangs bundles of plants, mushrooms, and various pieces of string. She is elderly, her voice cracking and wavering, and her knobby fingers poke and prod.

Traits and Motivations

Maari is very self-assured and confident in her abilities, but knows that her abilities are waning with age. She looks upon anyone younger than her (practically everyone) as being children, and will often override their opinions if she disagrees with them, informing them what they really ought to do.
