Greta Ratsdaughter

The character of Greta is from the quest "Poison in the Dark", and can be encountered in South Whitehill Mine.

"They always said to me, 'You are what you are.' Sure, that makes sense. But I'm not a rat. It's easy to say that, when you're proud of what you are. But I'm not. And I'm not a rat."

Greta is the young wererat, a small girl, encountered in South Whitehill Mine. She too escaped from the circus with Bulga of Picar and Peris of Cardin, and has been hiding out in the mine. They arrived in the hopes of a brief place to stay, but when Peris of Cardin repaired the ventilator, the ghosts trapped them within, unable to move on.

She trusts Bulga of Picar and Peris of Cardin, but she doesn't like them. And although they have come to terms with and accept their roles as 'rats', she resents it and refuses to lose her values and her pride.

Description

Greta is very small and very thin. She has a long, pointed face and bright eyes. She is unflinching, unyielding, and very brave, though she is often told by her companions to remain still and silent. She wears a plain dress with a bright red-and-yellow sash as a belt - taken from the cloth of one of the caravan's tents.

Traits and Motivations

Greta wants to be kind, honourable, and just, and hates that she has become a wererat, as her instincts are at war with her soul.
