According to the myth, the Elder Giants once roamed the world, teeming with magic. Taller than the mountains they were, and wise, and powerful. When they died, laying their great heads upon the soil for the last time, their power bled out into the world to make the feywilds, forests where the border between the Material Plane and the Plane of their namesake.

This particular magical forest is named for one of the Elder Giants -- the maternal figure in the legends of the goliaths, Ithilenna, the Mother of the Moon. Within the wild, for those that have the nerve to venture within, lie her bones, longer than tree-trunks.
