A mercenary attached to the Guild Hall in Glaston, Tevelik is one of the characters encounterable for the adventure "The Crystal Light".
"You wanna stir trouble? I'll hand you to the dwarves if you're here to play with them, and deal with you myself otherwise. Play nice, and I might even buy your first ale. No promises on the second."
Tevelik Patcheye is a wiry halfling with a crooked grin and a long scar slicing through one side of his face - hence the name. Dressed in mismatched armor and always carrying two blades, he exudes the cocky swagger of a soldier who’s survived far too many fights to believe in luck. His voice is fast, gravelly, and often sarcastic, and his Northern Freeholds accent gives him a streetwise edge. As the head of Glaston’s Mercenaries Guild, Tevelik runs a tight operation with little patience for fools, though he’s not above bending rules if it gets the job done. He respects competence, despises arrogance, and has a personal hatred for anyone who puts civilians at risk. His motivations center on protecting Glaston’s fragile peace, and if the party starts trouble, they’ll find out just how fast he can move with a short sword in each hand.
Description
A wiry halfling with a battered breastplate, a wicked scar running from his temple to the black eyepatch stitched over his left eye. His belt carries three knives and a contract scroll. Tattoos of guild sigils run down his arms.
Traits and Motivations
Tevelik was a gutter-snipe in his early days, and speaks with that brash, lower-class accent. He clawed his way to power, and is brash, pragmatic, and brutal when needed. He has a dark sense of humour and a quick temper. Despite that, he is respected (and feared) by the locals and the regular traders - his particular brand of law is fast, final, and public.
He likes to test new faces, taps his knives when thinking, and uses gallows humour.
