The character of Raltad'gal is from the quest "The Goblin Problem", and can be encountered in Lord Gladsvain's Hall.
“I am Raltad’gal, the Speed of Falling Rocks. This is Pla’talt, the Warmth of Blood on Skin. Around you are my children. The Blood of My Heart. They are my goblins, and I am theirs. This is my village.”
The 'king' of the goblin tribe, Raltad'gal is old for a goblin, at 40 years old, while the next oldest is only twenty, with goblins reaching adulthood at eight. He is aware of the attitudes towards his people, but is resigned to them as a fact of life. He aims only to survive by any means necessary, and believes that a direct conflict will only inspire the humans to greater violence.
Description
Ral'tadgal has yellowish hair - even white from age, and is stooped and wrinkled. He is much more happy to negotiate than fight, and distrusts charity. His dark eyes are bright and twinkling with intelligence.
Traits and Motivations
In his youth, he was fleet of foot and quick-witted. He is more even-keeled than the average goblin, more farsighted and introspective. Perhaps it was these qualities that made him pre-eminent amongst the goblins as their local king, or perhaps these qualities are simply what naturally occurs when a goblin lives for more than a handful of years.
