Dawnrise 52 - The Braiding Bunch (4/14)
(I KEPT MEANING TO WRITE THIS MY BAD YALL)
Resurrecting people is pretty easy as it turns out. Raven and Die-anna came back normal...normal ish. Die-anna is a changling, as demonstrated by her changing into each one of us. I look really good its insane. But we also resurrected one of the Jerman, while waiting Dev showed off his sick hair braiding skills. I have a studio idea in the making...

But while the Jerman #1 returned normal, he was shaking like a leaf.
He explained that he and his brothers went, "extreme scouting", and whatever happened resulted in his death. He gave some vague hints of his last memory, and swore he saw things "repeat?". We sent him over to Meres, told him not to look Laris in the eyes, and we swore that Dev the Wizard, Raven, Die-Anna & Odett, and I were going to get his brothers back.
We later traveled southeast of the woods with an area of red flowers and red trees, and came near the most unnatural thing I've seen. Inside was a copy of OG Jerman, running from evil Jerman before getting killed, over and over and over again. Naturally, I needed a closer look and went in with some rope around me, and just kept feeling tugged against my will.
This ended with Die-Anna turning into Jerman #3 (or four, depending how you see this) and Raven on her back to defeat the Evil Jerman (An Echo Stalker), where everything absolutely went right. We retrieved copy OG Jerman from the time loop, but he ended up turning to dust when pulled out.
(I legit cannot recall the rest my notes are chicken scratch)

Weekly Wyrm Recap

  • The Jerman Situation Someone hit the big shiny revive button on Jerrel—without telling Steve, naturally. And since Raven and Die-Anna were also brought back without clearance, camp’s gossip mill is spinning at full speed. Jerrel returned dazed, haunted, and full of spooky half-memories, so the crew dove into dream logic and trauma clues to figure it out. Turns out? Planar wrinkle. Time stutters. Red tree on a cliff. Obviously. They tracked it all to a weirdly warped gully where they met the Echo Stalker—a nightmare that reenacted Jerrel’s death frame by frame. They managed to grab the other Jermen and get out just before the wrinkle collapsed. The Echo Stalker, though? Still out there. One thing is for sure, Merris is running out of room for traumatized recruits in the med tent.
