Description

This fractured crystal node was pried from beneath the Saber Shrine shortly after the Riftborn Saber’s death in Ancient Amphitheater. It pulses faintly with planar resonance, especially under a full moon. Holding it feels like being deep under water, pressure and sound intensified but muffled.

Release the Echo

As an action, you may shatter the core to unleash a concussive planar roar.

• Each creature of your choice within 30 feet must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw, taking 3d8 force damage and being deafened and pushed 10 feet on a failure (half damage on a success).

• Aftereffect: Once released, the core disintegrates into dust, unrecoverable.

Preserve the Echo

If brought to a skilled artificer, druid, or forgemaster, the core can be used as a rare crafting material. It may serve as:

• A component in stabilizing or reforging drudic relics

• A power source for planar tools or defensive wards

• A ritual seed for restoring a damaged leyline
