Venariel is the overarching Archfey tied to the region of Kildar, both feared and revered among those who know of the Fey. Long ago, they shaped the Gleamvale a secluded, drifting subrealm within the Feywild cut off from the rest of that chaotic plane.

Though Venariel is the de facto ruler of the Fey Courts within the Gleamvale, their actual power is uncertain. The Fey under their nominal command operate with fluid allegiances and fickle loyalty. They are obeyed more out of tradition and reverence than control. Their influence, like the moon that eternally hangs above his realm, is constant, but not always direct.

Venariel themself is a mystery, rarely seen, their will carried out through whispers, riddles, and emissaries. Some say they slumber in a palace of moonlight; others believe they walk Kildar in disguise, watching the reflection of their domain ripple through the mortal world.
